Finally I succumbed to my husband’s long time yearning to embark on a cruise. Thinking about it before resonates angst in me and makes me terrified. I unfailingly get qualmish and queasy, and I loathe the sensation. Since it’s January, I was crossing my fingers hoping and praying that it’s not going to be gusty and the sea would be calmly serene as they have forecasted. But with complete honesty, I didn’t entirely trust the weather. I was prepared to tackle my uncontrolled trepidation and brought at-least 3 antidotes for my sea sickness. I was thrilled and uneasy but I marched right into the entrance to the ship with boldness in my heart. Gave myself a pep talk that everything’s gonna be fine. I’m surprised that I wasn’t petrified at all the moment vast of water was only seen surrounding us. I even got excited!

We visited Royal Caribbean’s private island CocoCay. The ship came to a halt near the island since they don’t have a dock for a huge craft. No overcrowding in the island and long lines. The sand was sterling white. The water was crystal clear and cold but not too cold. There are handfuls of excursions you can choose from. You just need to book it on board or book it online. My husband and I picked the snorkeling excursion. We always relish snorkeling. We strolled the shore and basked in the heat of the shining sun. It was a perfect day. What will lastingly be etched in my psyche was the atmosphere of the island. It was pleasantly breezy while digging my toes in the sand. The blue water soothed my yearning senses and gave me that tranquil vibe in harmony with the sound of the soft waves lightly crashing the shore. Just relaxing!

As for my outfit, I bought this two piece at Shein.com. The material is made up of cotton. What I adore about this dress is that it is a summer chic dress you can wear from the beach to a date night. But for me, I wore this on my CocoCay visit. The top though is not that snug but still fits. The skirt with the pocket is my favorite. This outfit is really flattering and versatile. I have links below for you to check it out if you like to procure one. I’ll be posting more of my cruise adventure next. I’ll see you again soon.
