I’d like to think that my little human trotters are born to roam. I love to just get out, casually dress up and go. Even just a walk downtown is fine for me as long as I can idly wander. I reap this boost of zest from just drifting myself away from places to places. This is one of my activities when I’m not working. It kept me fit and happy.

I’ve always been secretly wanting to own a good over the knee boots. Thigh high boots are all the rage this winter season. I’ve tried a lot of brands out there and ended up returning ALL OF THEM. I know there’s one that I really wanna buy but it’s $798! I’ve always dreamed of possessing those pairs. So, finally, I decided to get one this season. I bought the famed most coveted over the knee boots Stuart Weitzman pair. I chose to buy the Tieland style. I love it! Somehow, it’s the first over the knee boots that really fits. I’m 5’1″ and weighs only 100lbs and size 00 for reference. You can imagine how slim my legs would be. But these pairs are perfect! Although, I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase, I still scoured the net for more Over the knee boots. Until, one night, I found this Kaitlyn Pan brand that has such ringing good reviews. I bought one pair to experience what the hype is all about. Scroll down for the detailed comparison of the two.

Material Quality:

The Stuart Weitzman boots are made of suede. It is made of split leather but due to the fiber content, it has a shaggy nap. It is strong but not as quite as durable as the leather. On the other hand, Kaitlyn Pan boots is made of microsuede. A synthetic microfiber that is water-repellent. It is 100% pure polyester fibers and has soft hand of natural suede leather but none of leathers drawbacks like more sensitive to temperature. One of the few I could mention. Surprisingly, as many people think that synthetic material is inferior compared to genuine suede, I have to disagree. Genuine suede is tremendously tough to take care of and you don’t want to get it wet. The microsuede material used in the Kaitlyn Pan boots feels just like real suede, but thicker.

Sole & Insole:

Stuart Weitzman Tieland insole is made of leather with a rubber sole. The Kaitlyn Pan is made of genuine lamb skin and polyurethane. You can also check the photos for reference. Both have no separating part seam and no visible glue.

How it fits:

First, for the plus. The Kaitlyn Pans has the silicone lining on the opening. It’s ingenious! Both hugged my legs tight but the Kaitlyn Pan is tighter. Both fabrics are stretchy and gives a perfect silhouette shape of your legs but Kaitlyn Pan’s micro suede is thicker and a little heavier than the Stuart Weitzman suede. They’re both snug and warm to wear.

Comfort:

My shoe size is 5.5, I could say that Stuart Weitzman is roomier on my toes than Kaitlyn Pan’s same size. Both have amazing comfort and are able to use them for my wanderings. There is no sag with both these boots but grateful for the additional silicone lining from KP pair. As expected, despite the 4-inch height of the block heels, both pairs still have extreme comfortability. The resilient and versatile material gives you that “scarcely-there” feeling while keeping your legs warm.

Now that I have reviewed both of these lovelies, it’s now up to you to choose who wins on this round. For me, personally, with the price and quality I am geared towards Kaitlyn Pan’s pair of boots over Stuart Weitzman’s. I could get 99.9% or par with Stuart Weitzman quality on the Kaitlyn Pans for just $99! What a steal!
