Our Favorite Places to Eat on the Las Vegas Strip - Travels and Whims
Sterling Buffet Unlimited Lobster Tails and Steaks

Sterling Brunch

Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (BLT Steak)
3645 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

When it comes to opulence in buffet dining, the Sterling Brunch at Bally’s Hotel grabbed the crown and declared itself king. This luxurious brunch brings typical Sunday brunches to its knees with portions of unlimited lobster tails, filet mignon steaks, caviar and free-flowing champagne.

Renowned as the frontrunner of Vegas buffets, this legendary buffet has been around for more than 40 years, often exceeding patrons’ expectations with gluttonous portions of exquisite dining. However, while the restaurant focuses on amazing premium dishes and exquisite menu items, buffet choices are somewhat limited and might be a downside to some.

Charge is quite steep at $125 per person as of October 2019, but it is definitely worth the experience especially if you love eating unlimited lobsters and steaks. Unlimited pours of premium champagne is also a most welcome indulgence. Reservations are typically made 3-4 months ahead. If you’re a guest at Ballys and have not procured a reservation prior to your trip, you can ask guest services to call and help you secure one. We were quite surprised that we got one in-spite of being told of a full reservation over the phone.

Bacchanal Buffet Most Recommended Buffets in Las Vegas Strip

Bacchanal Buffet

Caesar’s Palace
3570 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

The Bacchanal Buffet is where you lock your diet in a room and throw away the key. We love the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar’s Palace, and they have never failed to impress. Even though they are short of Sterling’s unlimited lobster tails, guests are presented with mountains of high quality dishes that will surely get every foodie in town hooked. Seafood? Most definitely! Stone crab claws, snow crab legs, king crabs, jumbo shrimp cocktails and freshly shucked oysters takes the spotlight. Don’t forget their amazing prime rib, generous cuts of tender wagyu beef, Italian sausages, rack of lamb, fork tender pork ribs and roasted bone marrow.

Select international cuisines cover several food sections with Mexican tacos made with fresh grilled tortilla, Spanish Paella, Chinese Dim-sum dishes, pork sinigang from the Philippines, and tons of other foods all made with the level of freshness and quality the Bacchanal Buffet is known for.

The Bacchanal offers some of the best desserts we’ve ever had in a buffet setting. Trust me, you would want to save some room for this.
Pricing is varied depending on the time of day. Click here for more details. For a limited time, a VIP package is available at $98 per person. Perks include an all you can drink package, a VIP seafood tower, and a dedicated reservation time to beat the lines.

Off Shoulder Dress Vegas - Travels and Whims
View of the Bellagio from Eiffel Tower Restaurant Las Vegas

Eiffel Tower Restaurant

Paris Las Vegas
3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Upscale fine dining restaurant with a spectacular view of the strip, serving up French fare with a touch of added flair. The Eiffel Tower Restaurant towers above the Bellagio Fountains offering an elevated perspective of the Water Show happening every 30 mins. Great ambiance with amazing service to match. But more importantly, the food. Where does it stand among the culinary greats that captured the hearts of food enthusiasts worldwide?

The Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas might be a lot closer to home that its European counterpart, but food quality rivals even the most exquisite foods we’ve had in Paris, France. We came here with heightened expectations of a great experience, awe-inspiring views, superb food and phenomenal service, and yet they have not failed to deliver.

Slow Braised Smoked Pork Belly Lyonnaise Style at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant

Menu prices is at par with that of Michelin Star restaurants in Paris with steaks costing almost $100 per order. Fresh seafood runs steep as well but we recommend trying their Grand Seafood Platter with lobster, shrimp, crab, oysters and clams.

The Buffet at Wynn

The Buffet at Wynn

Wynn Las Vegas
3131 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

True to the statement of sensory overload but in a most pleasant way. Enter one the most extravagant buffets in Vegas where you can feast your eyes on visually stunning decors, pastel-colored walls and generous waves of eye-poppingly vibrant food presentation and desserts. Interior designers really went over the top to make this gorgeous dining destination shine above its competition.

Even with fierce competition against buffet titans on the strip, the Wynn puts up a great fight with its enormous spread of upscale food offerings and decadent desserts. The line was rather long when we came, but it was well worth the anticipation.

Gordon Ramsay Burger Las Vegas

Gordon Ramsay Burger

Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
3667 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Owned by world-renowned entrepreneur and restauranteur Gordon Ramsay, this restaurant comes with high expectations for their luxurious rendition of the American classics. It’s our favorite go-to spot for amazing burgers, hot dogs and ice cold premium beer.

Hell’s Kitchen Burger at Gordon Ramsay Burger Las Vegas

This gastropub located in Planet Hollywood Hotel right on the strip managed to turn heads with the smell of delicious food and a fiery display at the entrance that is downright hard to miss. Nothing regular about the food either with burgers made with high quality meats for a superlatively juicy burger experience with a phenomenal orchestra of flavors.

Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen at Ramen-Ya Las Vegas

Ramen-Ya

Bally’s Hotel & Casino (Grand Bazaar Shops)
3615 S Las Vegas Blvd #109, Las Vegas, NV 89109

While Chinatown in Las Vegas is highly regarded for its authentic Asian fare, you don’t have to stray from the strip to enjoy a bowl of hot delicious ramen along with some Japanese fare favorites.

Mango Mochi Ice Cream Dessert at Ramen-Ya

Enter Ramen-Ya, a small ramen establishment located in the Grand Bazaar Shops right outside Bally’s Hotel on the strip, serves Japanese noodle soups, sushi wraps, bento boxes, snacks and drinks. Atmosphere is modern casual with a quaint feel of Japan’s small ramen joints. Service is pretty fast and efficient, but the place can be crowded at times. The Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen we tried has good flavor depth and the broth infused with chili oil is deliciously spicy with just the right amount of heat. You can definitely taste the pork marrow soup base with strong marriage of umami flavors.

Steak and Eggs at Village Pub & Cafe

Village Pub & Cafe

Ellis Island Casino & Brewery
2610 Regatta Dr #6888, Las Vegas, NV 89128

Family owned and just a block east of the Las Vegas Strip, Ellis Island Hotel, Casino and Brewery is a reflection of the old Vegas strip with some of its food prices still in play. Compared to its more luxurious neighbors, this humble establishment thrives with its true down to Earth Vegas roots and an all too familiar casino sights and sounds on its gambling floor.

Our Favorite Places to Eat on the Las Vegas Strip - Travels and Whims

Village Pub & Cafe is on one end of their casino area with one thing that we absolutely adore. Steak and eggs breakfast for a amazing price of $6.99! Beautifully seasoned thick cut top sirloin beef cooked perfectly to my liking. Juicy, tender, and can even surpass some of the more expensive steaks we’ve had. Definitely a meal that brings tremendous value to every dollar spent!
