It’s 70’s and chasing the sun for me seems like next in queue to gratify a whim. The aim to get a dark hot cocoa afternoon overload and at the same time appease my itching for some action to outside pursuit, is an impulse I can’t defy. A day like this is nothing short of amazing! A day full of sunshine delicacy is a day to relish and savor. So, my husband and I went out to enjoy the warmth of the 70’s air. While at it, it’s not gonna be complete without outfit photo sesh.
Since the very first sign of warmer climate was felt on my cheek, I can’t wait to spend more time outside. This season indeed calls out for perfect kicks for a walk or for any outdoor pursuit I want to venture. From strolling through the park to rediscovering neighboring lake sceneries, nothing beats a worthwhile offhand recharging trip on a nice spring air.
I’m so delighted that it’s now just a day away when we can finally see nature wear a kinder look and don on colorful blossoming flowers. After cheerlessly enduring the harsh winter climate, the seemingly elusive spring is now on our doorsteps to make us feel its breath of warmer embrace.
Since time flies so quick as lightning, I can’t cease day dreaming about when midday is soothing, air is milder, flowers blooming and nature wears a kinder look. The freshness of this season squashes the cares of the soul as birds break their silence and start humming filling the air with great delight. I get a little carried away with dubbing about this season for poetry might be born in spring. I’m thrilled that I will start to strut lighter clothes outside without the fear of getting frost bitten.
I have an old soul but a kid at heart. I am always fascinated with historical structures and archaic surroundings. This small town in Illinois did satiate the yearning of an old soul. I also love to always discover new towns, uncover hidden gems in surprising places and relish the adventure it made me feel exploring yesteryears’ tale.
