I’m so delighted that it’s now just a day away when we can finally see nature wear a kinder look and don on colorful blossoming flowers. After cheerlessly enduring the harsh winter climate, the seemingly elusive spring is now on our doorsteps to make us feel its breath of warmer embrace.
Today, my husband and I wheeled up to relish the prelude to spring’s warmer touch. It’s 50’s today and it’s glowing with sunshine outdoor. I can’t let this day leave without basking in this pleasant warm sunlight. I can taste spring already! The birds broke out in songs for the first time in months of silence. As for me, every transition is always appealing. Winter is surely longer here in Iowa compared to other 4 season states. There are foreseeable perks with every season and it’s electrifying for me to habitually look forward for a change every time. The shift is what gladdens me. The beauty of every season charms me to appreciate variety, acknowledge that adjustment is exciting, and rejoice the rollercoaster of life.
Today unfolds the last day of winter. March 20th is the first day of vernal equinox and its tomorrow! Here I’m wearing a blush pink leather jacket. Beneath is a black pullover sweater I paired with a black short pencil skirt. I am so happy to have found this very cute Blondo Women’s Kelly Waterproof Bootie. They are snug, warm and very comfortable on my feet, even after hours of walking. These heels give just enough height I desire but not overwhelm nor tire my legs. I just adore these!
