‘Tis near Halloween and there’s a plethora of horror movies in queue on Netflix. My husband and I saw the whole series of The Haunting of Hill House, but I won’t be talking about that here. What I’m saying is that I love a good scare. It’s Saturday and it’s been quite a long time since I’ve marched in a theater to watch a movie. I heard about this movie Halloween. I’m quite intrigued about the hype this movie claims. We watched it and here’s my teensy thought about it.
One thing I dislike about horror movies is that there are plots where characters are making idiotic decisions. This is a film that touched the essence of that conventional slasher movie splashed with memory triggers from the protagonist. I adore how the writer enhanced some spooky parts and tap a raw nerve in me. The gory scenes are relatively mediocre depending on who’s watching. The tactile terror of this film is a bit disappointing, but watching strong female leads with a smart twist at the end is irresistibly satisfying.
Moving on to my outfit. Here I’m wearing a peplum red pullover sweater. It’s in the lower 60’s today so i chose to put on something cozy but not bulky. Love that it is snug on my frame and very comfortable to wear. These pair of boots too are really cute to match this get-up. You can nab the items I wear from the links below. I’ll see you in my next article.
