My hair glides with the ocean breeze as I bask in the pleasant flow of the wind. I soaked in the sun with the swaying palm trees. Smile as well when the cozy sun shines on my face. I’ve never felt more carefree than being in the arms of warm air of the sea.
Last week, at last, we got to fly out of the country to Mexico after 7 months of being quarantined by this pandemic. My husband and I were so thrilled to finally catch a much needed break after this whole coronavirus ordeal. As healthcare workers, a vacation is such a great respite these days.
Like stardust sprinkled in my eyes, I could spend hours basking fondly freely in this sight of serene ethereal scenery. Where my footsteps gleam as I waltz with warm fresh breeze thinking only on being carefree and wandering my way to enchantment. Besides, it’s still fairly summer and forasmuch as I can’t wait for cool crisp air to set about, I can’t seem to let go of summer’s warm embrace and still take pleasure in this green foliage.
As the end of August days are here, we hurtle towards another equinox. But, I still like to dance in the sun, pick a dandelion and wish upon a pluff then lay my head on the grass waiting for shooting stars at night. Still while days of early morning light extend its last stretch, I still like to savor the fragrance of summer’s blooms, linger in the richness of sunshine and chase some sparkle from this afternoon’s glare!
I chant to the humming of my soul. Dance to the rhythm of my heartbeat but live to the pattern of HIS season. Found this charming marshland minutes outside our town and kind of thrilled for autumn. Can’t wait to breathe that crisp cool air and drink my favorite cup of hot cocoa! Are you guys excited too?
