A Day At The Mall Of America - Travels and Whims

Mall of America is one of the largest malls in the United States. It is located in Bloomington MN, a suburb near the twin cities in Minnesota. It’s not just a shopping mall that consist of 520 shops full of tax-free goods and 50 different gourmet restaurants you can choose from, but it is more than that.

Occasionally, my husband and I will just drive to the mall to shop, eat and see some of their recent attractions. They have different savvy events every now and then, and you can check it through their website if you are interested. We usually go there for one day weekend, and spend the entire day there. One whole day may not even be enough when you get to see what the mall has to offer. They have most of my favorite stores to shop and procure things I may need or want. They also have a good array of restaurants that will satiate your at-the-moment-hankering. In a simpler sense, they basically have everything!

If you need to add a drizzle of adventure to your day, you can always visit the mall’s indoor theme parks. From feeding sting rays, attending concerts, zip lining, driving go carts, building legos, thrilling rides to flying all over America, you can have all that here in one place! But this time we only did the shopping.

Oh! To add a delicious piece for me, and for you out there who has uncontrollable sweet tooth like mine, they opened a store last December that will without a doubt drag me and you to come back here again and again. They now have a French macarons pastry shop! We are situated in the midwest and it’s damn hard to find a good bakery that has such good macarons, but Mall of America has one now! I went bonkers when we found one and bought a lot of those mouthwatering macarons. The taste and the flavor on each of those French macaron pieces is on point with every bite! I just can’t have enough and I will be back.

I had such a surprising day! Another good thing about malling, aside from all those eye candies and procuring one, I had a good walk to say the least, and great meals while we’re at it.
