As you open your eyes to the first light of the morning sun and inhale the last dawn’s breath while cool breeze sweep,
Did you find Jesus in the coolness of the night as he hid the sun while you sweetly slumber numbing your senses to sleep?
As institutions, universities and academies indefinitely ceased this term and you deal with your youngsters at home everyday,
Did you find Jesus in the chances He’s given you to bond with your children this way?
As you warmly cocooned at home yet stir crazy and bored for mundane task,
Did you find Jesus in the comfort of your den He orchestrated for you to safely stay, than to the danger you could outdoorly bask?
As you lounged watching the corners of your house instead of lazing in the sun at the beach,
Did you find Jesus in the wonderful creation of family He created for you to bond and reach?
As our shackles of routines have been broken and we found ourselves in strife,
Did you find Jesus in the oddness of His approach as He roused us on what really is important in life?
As we scramble to control on what we can’t clearly see at hand,
Did you find Jesus in the unified community assisting to meet the demands?
As some have lost, hearts broken, tears flooding and all feels doom and gray,
Did you find Jesus in the next morning as He give them strength to face another day?
As each nations apprehensively jumble to social distance as normalcy shifted,
Did you find Jesus in the infirmary as people, nurses and doctors pray together for the nations and the inflicted?
As the world seemed to stop, streets empty, all nooks desolated, abandoned and done,
Did you find Jesus in nature as it’s mending itself healing our earth preparing for one more lovely start when this is all gone?
As we wait for this too shall pass while we catch our breath,
Did you find Jesus in the hope of tomorrow that as He has risen up from the grave, He already conquered death?
When man sinned, it severed the bond between God and man. So God the Father sent his son Jesus to fill the gap. God the Father experienced loss too when Jesus died on the cross. Jesus too suffered, was persecuted and tormented. Jesus too felt pain and agony when He was crucified. We are not alone in this battle. He is every where in this pandemic and He is waiting for us us to see. Come to Him and He will never dismiss anyone to accept Him as He.
