The unstoppable turning of time’s inevitable snare has chiseled this great city to evolve and embrace its gradual transformation into a modern urban jungle. Sights and sounds of fast-paced living permeates its historic charms as stone paved walkways now augmented with vast means of newfangled transportation.

Nonetheless, Londoners fancy a lovely afternoon of proper English tea and crumpets. A soothing escape from life’s insatiable demands. Street corners hold stunning arrays of local cafes laden with floral decorations best suited for that momentary immortalization through the camera lens.

Elan Cafe is undoubtedly one of our favorite cafes in London. There are around 4 branches around London. Each one decorated with beautiful floral decors that gets a refreshing look every few months. Gorgeous pastries and drinks makes it ideal for a leisurely afternoon snack. Two of the Elan Cafe’s we went to have a downstairs seating area so be sure to check it out.

Peggy Porschen Cakes

Neal’s Yard is an alleyway not too far from the main Covent Garden square. Within it are brick buildings painted with bright colors. The area is crowded at times with a few small restaurants scattered around where people like to hang out and spend a relaxing afternoon.

The structure stands proudly along the banks of River Thames and provides an unparalleled panoramic view of the city. Across the river, you’ll find a few of London’s iconic red phone booth where you can take a stunning shot of the Eye in the background.

Another one of London’s lovely rendition of a beautiful floral spectacle within a cafe. Only this time, it is within the walls of the Selfridges Mall. The cafe is adorned with drop-downs of purple flowers, oversize mirrors, elegant seating, and tempting pastries and desserts.
